The Cajon Playing Position

So I finally made my first instructional video. I decided to start at the very beginning and talk about the playing position. I see so many cajon players sit with their back bent and bend over the cajon to play the bass tones very low on the playing surface. So my suggestions are to concentrate on having your back as straight as possible, your shoulders relaxed, put the feet to the sides of the instruments to allow for good access to the playing surface, and to play the bass tones towards the top of the cajon. I personally also like to tilt the instrument a bit by raising the front end a little, but some players don´t like that. I would recommend trying both ways, and using the one more comfortable for you.

I hope you enjoy this first instructional video out of many that I will do.
